Cal Kestis Is Back. And He’s Angry.

Five years have passed since Fallen Order. Cal Kestis isn’t that scared young padawan anymore. He’s a full Jedi Knight now. And Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PC Download proves he’s ready for bigger challenges. Much bigger.

The story picks up with Cal and his crew still running from the Empire. They’re desperate. Tired. Looking for a place to hide. That search leads them to a forgotten planet called Tanalorr. But getting there? That’s the hard part .

Here’s what makes this sequel special. The combat got a massive upgrade. You now have five lightsaber stances instead of just one. Single blade for balance. Double-bladed for crowds. Dual wield for speed. A heavy crossguard stance for slow but powerful hits. And a blaster stance that mixes ranged shots with lightsaber slashes .

Switching between stances mid-fight changes everything. You’ll figure out which one works best for each enemy type. It’s tactical. It’s fun. And it makes you feel like a real Jedi.

The Open World Works Better This Time

Koboh is the main planet. It’s huge. Like, really huge. You’ve got a mount to ride across its valleys. Settlements to explore. Caves to raid. And secrets everywhere.

The game uses Metroidvania-style exploration. See something you can’t reach? Come back later with a new ability. That force dash you unlock halfway through? Opens up half the map again. Smart design .

Other planets include Jedha (a desert moon with Jedi ruins) and the shattered moon of Koboh. Each one looks stunning. The art team crushed it.

The Performance Drama (And Why It’s Fine Now)

Let’s address the elephant in the room. This game launched in rough shape. Bugs. Stuttering. Frame drops. PC players were furious .

But here’s the good news. It’s fixed now. Multiple patches cleaned up almost everything. Players on modern hardware report stable 60fps at 1080p on medium settings, even with older cards like the GTX 980 Ti . The PS5 version runs smoothly on performance mode too .

That said, 155GB is brutal. Clear your schedule. And your hard drive.

What Real Players Are Saying

Reviews are mostly positive. Sitting around 7–9 out of 10 from users .

People love the combat depth and character moments. The twist involving a certain Sith Lord? Gets everyone hyped. The ending sets up a third game perfectly.

Complaints exist though. Some say the open world feels empty. Too much backtracking. Rewards from chests are just cosmetics—nothing that changes gameplay . And a few difficulty spikes will test your patience .

But overall? “Easily one of the strongest Star Wars games we’ve seen in a long time” .

God of War (2018)A dad and his axe instead of a Jedi and his lightsaber. Tight combat, emotional story, and that same feeling of growing more powerful.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor free to play?
No. Standard Edition is $69.99 USD. BUT—if you have EA Play Pro or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (PC), it’s included. That’s the best deal.

Where can I get the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PC download safely?
Stick to Steam, the EA App, or Epic Games Store. Avoid random “free download” sites. The game is huge, and fake installers are everywhere.

Do I need an internet connection to play it?
Yes for initial activation and updates. After that? The single-player campaign works offline. No always-online nonsense.

What is the total download file size?
155 GB . That’s one of the biggest single-player games out there. Clear serious space before downloading. And seriously—use an SSD if you can. HDD load times are painful.

Is the PC version still broken?
No. The launch was rough, but patches fixed the major issues . Players with GTX 1070-class cards report playable framerates at 1080p. Just don’t expect 4K ultra settings unless you’ve got a beast PC.
