The Crown Killer Is Coming For You
You’re Empress Emily Kaldwin. Or maybe you’re Corvo Attano, her father and royal protector. Depends who you pick. Either way, someone just stole your throne. Dishonored 2 PC Download throws you into a coup, and trust me, this isn’t a clean one.
Here’s the setup. Emily is ruling the empire. Not great at it. A bit distant. Then her aunt Delilah shows up. Claims she’s the rightful heir. Takes the throne. Turns Emily into stone? Corvo too? It’s messy.
You escape on a boat called the Dreadful Wreck. Find your way to Karnaca, a dusty coastal city full of secrets. Now you need to take back your crown. One mission at a time.
The story is fine. Not as good as the first game. The Outsider talks too much now and acts like a morality police officer. Some players hate it. But honestly? You’re not here for the plot. You’re here for the levels.
Two Characters. Two Different Powersets.
Emily is the new protagonist. Her powers are fresh. Far Reach lets you yank yourself across gaps or pull enemies toward you. Domino links enemies together—kill one, kill them all. Shadow Walk turns you into a creepy shadow monster that slithers under doors. Mesmerize makes guards stand around drooling while you sneak past.
Corvo plays like the first game. Blink for teleporting. Dark Vision to see through walls. Possession to control rats, fish, and humans. Devouring Swarm calls rats to eat your enemies. If you played the original, you’ll feel right at home.
You can finish the game without killing anyone. Or slaughter every guard in sight. The world reacts differently. More bloodflies. More rats. Darker endings. The choice is yours.
The Level Design Is Unreal
Arkane Studios makes incredible maps. Dishonored 2 is their masterpiece.
Remember A Crack in the Slab? You get a device that lets you jump between past and present. Flip a lever in the past? The present changes. Move a bookshelf decades ago? It’s moved now. It’s brain-bending. It’s brilliant. One of the best levels ever made.
Clockwork Mansion is another standout. The entire building rearranges itself. Walls move. Floors flip. Enemies pop out of secret panels. You’ll play it three times and still find new routes.
Every level has multiple approaches. Roofs. Sewers. Hidden passages. Locked doors with codes you found three levels ago. It rewards curiosity. Big time.

Load times are okay on an SSD. On a hard drive? Expect longer waits between missions. Nothing unbearable.
