Indy Is Back. And He’s Punching Nazis.
The year is 1937. Someone stole a mummified cat from Marshall College. That’s where Indiana Jones and the Great Circle PC Download begins. And it doesn’t slow down from there.
You play the legendary archaeologist. Not some young replacement. Not a sidekick. The real deal. Troy Baker voices Indy, and he absolutely nails that Harrison Ford energy with a weird Jeff Goldblum twist . It works better than it should.
Here’s the setup. A giant breaks into the college, steals one random artifact, and vanishes. Indy investigates. That trail leads to the Vatican, the pyramids of Giza, and the jungles of Thailand. Turns out, there’s a secret connected to “The Great Circle” – a ring of ancient sites around the world . The Nazis want it. Obviously. You have to stop them.
How It Actually Plays
This isn’t Uncharted. You’re not a superhero.
Combat is first-person. You punch, block, and counter. Grab nearby objects – bottles, shovels, even a plunger – and bash enemies over the head with them . The melee system feels satisfying. Each punch has weight. You can also whip enemies to disarm them or knock them off balance.
Guns exist. You have a revolver. But shooting alerts everyone nearby. Indy reloads each chamber individually, which takes forever. Most of the time, stealth is the smarter move .
The levels are surprisingly open. Big hub areas in Rome, Egypt, and Thailand. You explore catacombs, climb ruins, and solve puzzles . The journal tracks main quests and optional fieldwork. Photo opportunities let you snap pictures of historical stuff for lore points.
